What is a trading day?

A trading day is only counted if on that calendar day at least one trade is opened and also closed.
The calculation of a trading day is based on CET and refers to the period from 00:00 to 23:59 of the same calendar day.

Important note

In order to fulfill trading days in the 2-Step Pinex Trader Account Phase or in Direct Funding, it is not sufficient to only open random or very short (placeholder) trades.

For a trading day to be counted, the trades must:

• be consistent with the entire trading history of the account
• as well as match the trader’s trading strategy and be comprehensible

Example

A trader already has 6 trading days, where the average trade duration is approx. 2 hours per trade.

If on the 7th trading day a trade with a duration of only 3 minutes is executed, this will not be counted as a valid trading day, as it does not match the previous trading strategy.
