Is trading or holding trades over the weekend allowed?

Opening and closing trades, whether manual or automated, as well as holding open positions over the weekend is not allowed at Pinex Capital.

This means specifically:

All positions must be closed before market close on Friday. Open positions that are held over the weekend violate the rules.

The restricted period is between Friday 22:00 (UTC) and Sunday 22:00 (UTC). During this time window, no trading is allowed.

This applies to all Pinex Trader Account types: Evaluation, Pinex Trader Account Phase and Direct Funding.
It does not matter whether the trade was opened manually or automatically.

This rule applies to all markets, including Forex, indices, cryptocurrencies and all other tradable instruments.

Only exception: Weekend Holding Add-On (Direct Funding)

For Direct Funding, the Weekend Holding Add-On can be purchased additionally. Only with this active Add-On is it permitted to keep positions open over the weekend and also to trade.

Without this Add-On, the following also applies to Direct Funding: no open positions over the weekend.

Background

Over the weekend, significant price gaps (gaps) can occur, which are beyond active risk management. Positions that are held over the weekend without hedging represent an uncontrollable risk, both for the trader and for the integrity of the trading environment. This rule ensures that all participants trade under fair and controllable conditions.
